It is one of the senses, it has accompanied me since the beginning, as long as can remember. What it leaves behind? At the level of emotions, it is an intangible legacy, only possible to describe, subjectively interpreted by a human being. Beyond the sphere of emotions there is also a tangible, physical, visible legacy. It doesn’t need to be told, it can be shown. It is a print, impression, mark…
There is nothing more beautiful to me than nature. I touch, I feel, emotions awaken, I can only remember and tell about it later. I don’t want that, that is not enough. I want to see it endlessly, even when the leaves fall, the colours change, everything changes. I miss it, I always do. I won’t be able to remember everything. I want to have at least a little, one day, one moment from the life of my beloved nature, without anyone’s participation, just nature and her print.
I had the honour to touch the surface that man built ten centuries ago, in homage to God, on which millions of wonderful people have trod. It is great honour.
Farewell, the realisation of never meet again, always saddens me. Just like from the cathedral in Girona, the touch of the floor is in the deepest place in my heart, so I hide a nature between the fibres of fabrics. I hide colours, smells, textures, even atmosphere through art composition… Yes, this is my photograph, mine and mine alone. I just wrapped nature in a sheet of material, and she left herself to me forever. I made a print, impression, mark…
What is left and what is created…
Marks mimicking Nature…
Looking at the history of art, I see the struggle of man in capturing nature, her beauty, passing in many ways. Each of that way is amazing, Each of them is a master, but none of them does it like a nature itself. That is the embroidery. Especially folk embroidery was exactly dedicated to the nature. But all of that marks required in that artistic process are created by a human hand. In my approach, I left that process to the nature itself. Incorporating embroidery, I follow by the marks created by a nature in a direct print processes. This is the only way in my opinion that I can express it as it really is.
There is something else than line, mark or print…
That is my interpretation of shape, texture. I remain faithful to what is my inspiration, of course the nature. When I acquired the ability to extract colours from leaves, bark, seeds, flowers, fruits, I decided to kept them in the fibres of the fabric. And this material is used for further “remembering”, “photographing”, “printing”, almost imitating a nature.

And what happened later…
Technical Workshop…
This is how my work was created from technical side. This is how ideas are born under the influence of inspiration. At the beginning of this path there is always my close contact with nature. I collect the necessary materials, gather the knowledge, I use the fields of chemistry and physics. I collect various chemical substances, (some of them I create by myself), which I can adjust, change or eliminate particular colour. Some of my work on the beginning also concentrate at the processes like: chemical scouring fabrics, which enables the proper penetration of colour into the fibres of the material at the molecular level.
